Product Details:

As Fibre Optic (FO) based systems become more prevalent for communications and control networks subsea the need arose to commission and test the FO lines in subsea umbilicals and networks.

 

We were the first company to develop and deploy testing to meet this requirement. Called OPTi-Plus, it is a live data, surface controlled, Optical Time Domain Reflectometry (OTDR) system in a similar package to our Subsea Electrical Test System (SETS).
