FlexClear® Flexible Riser Vent Port Clearing

Restrictions or blockages of riser annulus vent ports are a common integrity concern which, if left unchecked, can lead to over-pressurisation of the riser annulus and damage to the outer sheath.

This is a difficult problem to address due to the inaccessibility of the venting system within the riser end fitting.

We developed FlexClear® to soften blockages which have been caused by manufacturing greases and tapes. FlexClear® has had extensive testing to ensure compatibility with all flexible pipe components, metallic and polymer materials and tapes.
